 Azarashi Neck Knife Azarashi, Means sea lion , this is a one of the kind , the Japanese style tanto blade and false edge, full tang construction, and special dark gray finish. Handle made of sea lion bone. omfortable knife whether you are cutting in a forward stroke or a backward slash, or performing a plunging jab. Cutting up, down, right, left or jabbing, this knife does it all without changing your secure hold on the knife. This knife measures 6.26" in length with a 3.01" blade. Weight is comfortable 2.4oz. The use of sandwich-constructed steel allows for a hard steel center for excellent edge holding qualities with the softer outer steel to give the knife better flexing ability during hard use. The handle material is attached with two torx head screws. This allows for tightening of the scales after years of use. The scales are not flush with the top and bottom of the full tang. This cause a grove that is comfortable and give a better grip if the handle should become wet during use. The size and shape of this knife makes it very versatile, small enough to conceal, big enough for everyday use.
